Sure, I "hate the cops" as much as anyone else, but I don't have the mindset of a 13 year old girl. So I understand the difficulty of the job and don't blame an officer for my poor judgement. So you are driving 80 in the HOV lane by yourself while trying to take really cute pictures for your new boyfriend that you are in love with because he is your boyfriend and he is all yours and why should you have to sit in this traffic?

I mean really WTF. Of course there is a cop waiting on the shoulder and spots you speeding along while on your phone while also not obeying the HOV law, "What a dick! Shouldn't he be off catching criminals!". Well he is, he is catching you. The officer has probably been assigned traffic duty, so thats what he is doing. Too bad he can't be harassing suspicious looking teenage minorities.

People die in car crashes, they die more often at freeway speeds because heavy cars moving fast hurt things. Don't believe me? The US Census Bureau(www.census.gov) reports that 37,261 deaths have resulted from motor vehicle accidents in 2008. WA had 521, which is about a 1/3 of GA(1,493), which is not even half of CA(3,434), which is "winning". The most up to date info I could find was from the NHTSA(National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) which reports 33,808 deaths in 2009. These deaths have been dropping consistently since 2005, probably cuz that cop who "had nothing better to do" pulled you over.
